Our preschool belongs to the families enrolled each year. We are an incorporated association with Committee of Management that is elected annually at our AGM. The Committee is made up of elected volunteers who are prepared to dedicate time to ensure the Preschool operates in the best interests of the children and families within the community. The most important role of parents is to provide the preschool with our Committee of Management, including financial management and administrative workforce. Being on the Committee of Management is a great way to meet many other families in the area and take part in the community, while working together with the Director and staff to create a wonderful learning and nurturing experience for our children.
Our committee meetings go from 7.30pm – 9.30pm and are usually held twice per term on Thursdays during the preschool year (8 meetings per year). All committee members are strongly encouraged to attend and voting members are expected to attend meetings. Participation as a member of the committee is a rewarding experience. Developing or maintaining your skills, such as financial management, administration, employer and employee relations, marketing and fundraising enables committee members to be proud of their service. It is also a great way to contribute to the preschool community for those who have less time to join in during preschool hours for activities such as kinder duty.

Our preschool can only run with the support of parents as part of our Committee of Management.
